Sofia Risberg, Ph.D. is a former historian who started learning BodyTalk in 2020. After taking courses, she has been intuitively guided to use that modality as a basis to work primarily with animals to help them find assistance with anxiety, trauma, ancestral patterns, and other issues that affect them.

Sofia’s been on a deep spiritual journey since 2009 when her father died (including adopting her spiritual name), to uncover the programs and beliefs that she took on that kept her from knowing and embodying her divinity (which we all carry within us). When she’s not helping animals, she dives deep into nutrition, and explores frequency devices, supplements, and ways to support her body to allow her connection to consciousness to flow more fluidly through her.

Speaker 1:

Hi Sophia. Welcome to the Quantum Alchemist Master Podcast. It's a pleasure to have you here. I'm very, very excited to be speaking with you and hearing more about you, your story, how you got to where you are and to the beautiful gifts that you're currently sharing. So start wherever you. Please Take the floor.

Speaker 2:

Thank you. Well, you know you and I were talking a little bit before you started recording and you know, one of the things I've been guided to and the word that's come through me a lot that I haven't mentioned yet is untethered, and I remember reading Michael Sanger's book a few years ago. The Untethered Soul Didn't like that book as much as his other book of how that actually occurred like. So there's the. These are all the things I've learned, and then this is what the process I went through to learn them, and so the process he went through is actually what I'm going through right now. And I mentioned, um, that I've recently moved out of a place that I lived in for 10 months and it's being sold and it's fine.

Speaker 2:

But before I moved, I was guided to look at house sitting and that brought up a lot of fear. And I looked into apartments and my higher self said you are lowering your frequency when you look for that. Don't look for apartments, because that's my comfort zone. I want to settle, I want to snuggle, that's my nature. I love having big kitchens, I love doing the home thing. That's the big thing for me.

Speaker 2:

And so what I am doing is I'm traveling around the state of Oregon for the next two months, spreading my light in different areas, and I had to confront the fear of homelessness and it's an illusion, and I didn't know how deep it was in me Because I've never been homeless, but it was there and I sat with it. I'm like, oh, this is a real fear. And I'm like, well, wait a minute, I'm living in other people's homes while they're not here. It's my home. I have everything I need either in storage or in my car. There's nothing wrong my car, there's nothing wrong. So I'm spreading light and and allowing me to connect with all.

Speaker 2:

So my whole business and I'll say my business in a minute is a word of mouth. I get to sit in people's houses and work on their animals. There's no more ground level word of mouth than that. And what I do is I'm a pet intuitive. Well, among the many things I am, because I'm way more than this, but what I'm called to do is I work with animals intuitively. I'm a pet intuitive and I do energy healing and I absolutely love what I do. So now I get to spread that around the state of Oregon and I'm going to be staying at two farms. So I love working with farm animals, and you know dogs and cats, hopefully a horse or cow or something. I would love to do that, because that just brings me joy. So, yeah, it's expansion on a level that I haven't surrendered to before, so I'm excited.

Speaker 1:

I want to touch on that First of all. I'm very excited for you because I only see infinite possibilities. That's the only thing I see. That's it. I think you're going to have so many wonderful experiences, going to be in touch with so many beautiful people, and who knows what's going to come out of it right? Most definitely referrals, which is always good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And you get to explore different things, so you definitely have to be at a certain level of heart openness to accept such surrender. Yeah, I really do believe that, oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because for someone else you have the opposite polarity, right. You could spiral down and down the rabbit hole and just find no way out, right? So the other thing you mentioned is right now you have today, right this minute, as we are speaking, you have all the resources that you need. You have water, you have shelter, you have all your basic needs met.

Speaker 1:

And, speaking from personal experience, we worry all the time and I come from from Cuba, from a very, very poor family, extremely poor, okay. So, coming from a lot of flack oh, there's Angel in the background coming in for a little participation. So, coming from that, I see, you know, see the fear and I can see how it could be completely disheartening to look at it from that lens. But because of all the work we've done, we have a different lens, we have a different perception. Same situation, just a different perception. I look at it with infinite possibilities, infinite opportunities and god's will, to a certain extent, if it makes any sense, god's universe, whatever I'm just like okay, I'm right here where you need me, got it, I'll do my best.

Speaker 1:

This is it's so it's so.

Speaker 2:

when, um, when 2020 came around, I was guided to do um a tune in and find out what the decade was going to be for me. The only thing I remember is me drawing a stick figure of me jumping off cliffs, and every every time I was given a cliff, the cliff would be higher and the landing would be softer, so it's just like a spiritual expansion. And so this is like an incredible expansion, because I'm only bringing what I need, and I'm actually beginning to pare that down even more because I'm seeing what I need versus what I thought I needed.

Speaker 2:

I love that what I need versus what I thought I needed. I love that and it's and I would love I don't even know if this exists, but somebody to like come into the storage units and sell everything and give me 30% of whatever it is because, like, I don't even want the storage units anymore.

Speaker 1:

My. God you might just have something amazing in your hands you might want to look into that I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know what it is. I'm like calling it out from the universe Please bring me that person because, like I don't need, it really is like the shocking awareness is I don't need that much, I have everything. I am everything, I need.

Speaker 1:

Wait, let's pause, let's pause. You are everything I need. Wait, let's pause, let's pause. You are everything you need. I could literally end the podcast. I'm not, but I think that is so powerful.

Speaker 2:

That literally came through me. I felt that I'm feeling into it and it's like do I actually need? What do I like? There's a big difference between what I need like and what I need. What I like is comfort. I like having all my supplements and all the foods I like, and I like being able to make sourdough every week. Do I need that? No, I don't. I know how to make sourdough. I can make it anytime I want, but like I don't need it. Yeah, what do you know?

Speaker 1:

to me because I look at our limited perception here as humans, so so limited to a certain extent. So I, I, I, I think of us sometimes including myself, of course as kids having tantrums. I want this, I want it now, right, and this is how I want it. Yeah, um, and it's not necessarily what we need for our growth and our expansion.

Speaker 1:

So I think you have to have a certain level of spiritual maturity to be okay, um, with what is yeah which can be disheartening at times, especially if you have an illness or if you're going through divorce or or loss of household in a sense, yeah right, or loss of comfort zone right.

Speaker 2:

I think for me it has been more of a comfort zone, but I have all my comforts. I mean, I have my pillows, like I just like you know what I mean. It's like this is a silly thing, but like I don't need to have the perfect bed. I have the perfect pillows. So what, you know what I mean. It's like, do I really need the perfect bed? No, because pillows I'm like, they're my. This is like a whole other level. So so you know how objects have energy. My pillows are my friends. It's a weird thing to say, but they are. They're down, you know, they're goose down pillows and so they carry the energy of the geese and I feel that and I know they're taking care of me. And it's a trippy thing to think about, Because we're so I love it.

Speaker 2:

I don't-.

Speaker 1:

You know. So, to touch on that. For those that are listening that feel this is too, because we're so, I love it. I don't, you know. So, to touch on that. For those that are listening that feel this is too woo-woo or too out there, which is okay, that's okay. We all listen, we all have our journeys, we all have our level of awareness and consciousness and lens of perception to not even like start. So, wherever you are, it's fine. You agree to disagree, it's cool too. We love that, we welcome that.

Speaker 1:

But just to your point, I'll mention the book Zero Limits. The person there speaks about, when they're giving conferences, going into the room and speaking to the room, asking permission to the room, asking the room if it needs anything and asking for permission to use it. So a lot of the times we believe that matter is not alive or doesn't have any level of awareness or consciousness at all. Just because we can't perceive it with our extremely limited five senses doesn't mean it's not there. Like the whistle of the dog just because we can't hear it doesn't mean the dog can't hear it. And same thing with colors and everything else. So, to your point, everything is energy, including us. So absolutely yes, I want to speak more about your work, or your passion, or your purpose or your mission, because I don't know. To me it's all just one of the above.

Speaker 2:

So, I recently.

Speaker 2:

Sure, first. First, I want to share because he's a purpose. So I remember a few years ago I looked at the gene keys and I saw this whole mosaic of me's and you know, the lower to the higher. And my purpose and I'm amused beyond description is presence, because presence has been the hardest thing I have ever tried to be to be, because I gave myself all of these programs to uncover so I could be more present. And I'm grateful to say that I'm more present than I ever have been and I give myself an opportunity to be more present every day. So that's my purpose and the greater purpose from that and it is the purpose is to fully embody my Christ consciousness, which we all get to, and that will bring the presence and it will bring. I mean, this is all tied together.

Speaker 2:

My passion is to help animals, not have to deal with just veterinarians for anxiety and trauma. Even I had a sheep I worked with a couple months ago from England and it was all remote, I didn't even have a picture of her. She tuned into my energy before I tuned into hers and the vet was going to put her down because she was lame. And the vet was going to put her down because she was lame. She had in her right elbow right side is masculine heartache in her elbow. That's where it's stored, this heartache. It's interesting, it's part of Chinese medicine, it's part of meridians, it's consciousness, it's a whole bunch of things using the system I use, and so we deactivated that. We found out subsequently that her brother had died and he was the pack leader of the sheep. I didn't know sheep had pack leaders, but they do. And within a week she was walking again.

Speaker 2:

So you know when the vet and there's no disparaging of Western medicine. Western medicine has a very strong purpose in some realms. Eastern medicine has strong purpose. Quantum physics has even a greater purpose. Um, and vets know what they know. They don't know what they don't know. There is a whole realm of possibilities that are outside the field of that type of training.

Speaker 2:

And for me to be able to offer any animal that comes into my field the ability to receive because I have to ask permission with everything else deep healing, it makes me giddy. I'm like a kid in a candy shop. I'm like that just happened. Oh, my God, that happened, and I get so excited because I know it works. But when I hear that the animals received it. That just geeks me out. I get so excited about it because that animal doesn't have to deal with anxiety anymore, they don't have to deal with trauma anymore. They don't have ancestral stuff anymore. If they ask, you know it all comes through in consciousness through me and I channel it and record it and I love what comes through because I know the system. I don't know the being I'm working with, so they know that I can tune into the system and they tell me what they need through that system and it's always a surprise in the best possible way, it's beautiful.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, I love that gift. It's just so, so beautiful. I definitely do believe that we need more of that. I think if each veterinary clinic had someone do what you do as a compliment to what they have in place, that would facilitate a lot of things To that extent. Have you ever thought, or do you certify people to do what you do? Because if we recreate many of you, then that would be available throughout the world.

Speaker 2:

Right? Well, there is a system that's already in place it's called the International Body Talk System, and that's the basis of what I use. Okay, and there are courses for that, and I am so grateful for that. I use that as a basis. I don't use the system, the protocols that they use, because I was guided. I don't need to guided, I don't need to. And then, as I'm learning more things, the things are coming through like I'm learning the Chinese five elements in the meridians right now. As I'm learning them, things are coming up in sessions like I'm getting humans and animals that are coming in that need something support with one of their meridians that I didn't know about two weeks ago. So it's really fascinating to see like, oh, as I'm learning more and more things are becoming accessible to me to assist with.

Speaker 1:

Beautiful. So I want to, I want to break that down a little bit. I did have a session. Well, first, the first thing I want to say is that every facilitator is different. So, whether there is a, for example, part of the zebra method that I teach in there, I certify you with Akashic records, right, but my method, of course, is completely different from the original or from you know whatever, and everybody has different prayers. Some people use meditation, and it varies's different ways to to do it. Um, not that you have to, but, just as a thought, your teaching would be completely different if somebody were to work with you and be certified by you. Uh, in general, because I, I would suggest anything?

Speaker 2:

I would suggest they take the first two courses Cool.

Speaker 2:

Thanks for saying that? Yeah, because, because learning actually is it two or three courses. So I took fundamentals one. I took five classes, but I'll just show the ones that are relevant Body talk, fundamentals one and two, so you get to actually get the basics.

Speaker 2:

And then there's an interim thing that's in between that and Body Talk 3, which is consciousness, and it's just opening you up to the possibility of consciousness. And once you actually take the consciousness class, then you get the big chart and then I get kicked out of the nest and I memorize that chart, because once you memorize it you don't have to rely upon it and it just comes through the session. And so that's what I've been doing with the meridians. I've been memorizing the meridian points so that when I feel something like, let's say, your spleen, because you love eating sugar and you have an imbalance of self-love, while there's a point on in between your knee and four fingers down on the inside, that's your spleen, and you just press that like for five seconds off, five seconds. Do that five times, five times a day. It's really, really it's. It's a minor thing, but it it helps balance your body.

Speaker 2:

Um, I also use a Healy frequency, um, and that's fun because it'll just read like I'll put a picture in of the human or the person I'm working with. It will scan that person's energy and provide what that person needs, or the animal needs. Yeah, Remotely.

Speaker 1:

So so you first thing, you work remotely and you mentioned, we know you work with animals, but you now mentioned people. So how is that? You also work with people. Well, it's, it's it's the same for one type of like how does that work?

Speaker 2:

Okay, well the easiest way to answer is animals receive it quicker. Um, I received body talk sessions on and off for about eight years. I had a lot of stuff to move animals. I do one session and usually I mean the sheep was an exception because she was so lame, but then she had a lot of heartbreak um, usually maybe two days and the animals fully integrated it because they don't. They don't carry as much. I mean, if it's, I rarely have more than two or three sessions with an animal. With humans I can go for years we're a work in progress.

Speaker 1:

We're a work in progress.

Speaker 2:

Well, we're a work in progress.

Speaker 1:

Well, we have more stuff in our subconscious and unconscious, so yeah, Do you ever do a session where you would do the animal and the person?

Speaker 2:

Like an owner Not at the same time, okay, because I want to honor each individual, but I do have. I do offer human and animal sessions as a package, like this dog that I'm living with now. He is a love. He's a love. He has a food scarcity, massive anxiety, and he gets jealous of the cats to the point where, if I say hi to the cat, he'll walk in between me and the cat. He gets jealous of the cats to the point where if I say hi to the cat, he'll walk in between me and the cat. Part of that's him, part of it's not.

Speaker 2:

So if I do a session with the human, I can help support the animal to clear out that. So the animal doesn't feel the need to take that energy on anymore, because animals have an agreement that they're trying to break out of of being codependent and taking on all of the energy of the human. Wow, the younger ones don't, the ones that are two years and younger don't, but the older ones do because, as you know, the frequency and consciousness has shifted. It's like little children right now. There's a different frequency with them, same with the animals, but the older ones still have the old programs and they don't want them anymore and they don't know how to stop taking on the emotions of the human. They just don't know how to do it, and so if I can assist that and then help the human with a session and then bring in awareness, that's awesome, because then the animal doesn't feel as obligated to take on that anxiety or that trauma that the human doesn't want to look at.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that's very powerful. I'm sure a lot of people listening to this including myself, just never. I mean, we perceive, as we have so much in our plate, right, usually the least thing in our mind is worrying about how our pet is doing or how they're feeling, like I mean, are they eating, drinking and pooping? They're good to go, right, um. So just bringing awareness again, um, to this shifts everything.

Speaker 1:

I did have a session once, um, with an animal communicator and it was. I loved it, it was very healing for me, it was for him, but I could see that it felt all for me, honestly, like I, I just I cried, I, I felt something shift in our relationship. So this is something that, if you've never tried it, if you're not open to it, if you think, oh my God, what are they talking about? This sounds so weird, you would be given, or at least from my experience, you would just know that it's true. From my experience, you would just know that it's true, that there's truth to this, because the information that came through was very personalized, like there's no way she could have known specifics as to certain things and certain keywords.

Speaker 1:

Like, when we started talking, you mentioned awareness, awareness, awareness. I'm like okay, I got it talking. You mentioned awareness, awareness, awareness. I'm like okay, I got it. There's certain key things that you're like okay, you know, this is specifically for you, so it was very, very, very beautiful and changing. So I highly highly recommend it. I have not had one with you so we have to do it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Well, and the cool thing is because I, when I go into session, I don't explain anything, it just comes through. So I have a video that I did explaining terms, because when I say something like something comes in. Often when there's something that's really out of alignment, it's called a complete repair, rehabilitation, re-optimization, which means it's getting a full DNA upgrade. I say it's a complete repair, rehab, reoptimization. I'm not conscious of me saying that because I'm in session and so I thought having a little explanation video might be a good thing, because I don't catch it and I know that there are things that I remember when I received sessions.

Speaker 2:

I was like what the hell does that mean? And how do you? What is tapping cortices? And wow, how am I like the proxy for the animal? How does that work? So I was like, okay, I'm just going to explain all this in a video, so I don't need to stop myself when I'm in session, because that's too confusing. Then I go back into my left brain and then it's, it's just too confusing. I'd rather just be right-brained. So Beautiful.

Speaker 1:

Usually how long are the sessions?

Speaker 2:

They're usually about 20, 25 minutes.

Speaker 2:

Oh cool, it's not too long and typically it's for animals listen once, unless it's really severe, and then just follow the guidance. That's at the end, and I'll write out the guidance too, so you know what's going on and I have an intake form with so I can look at the picture, even though apparently I don't need it anymore. It's my comfort zone. My comfort zone is I want to see a picture and, yeah, there's. Sometimes there's nutrition guidance, sometimes there's, like you know, for humans there's always grounding, like just go barefoot on the ground for half hour a day. If you don't have time for that, do it in an hour. Yeah, because like.

Speaker 2:

I know when I don't ground every day.

Speaker 1:

I'm not. I like that. Yep. That sounds like a good recipe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I know when I don't ground every day, I can't really sleep as well, and I don't know where it is. I have a grounding pad somewhere that I used to sleep with when I was in Portland Maine, oregon, maine, oregon. I lived in Portland Maine, oregon, maine, Oregon. I lived in Portland Maine too, but in Portland Oregon I was living on the 11th floor of a building and I had so much trouble sleeping that I got a grounding pad and then I could sleep.

Speaker 1:

So Beautiful, yeah, so one of the things that I things that I I've been wanting to do um is going to cuddle with horses, which is so and then my wife is like I don't think there's a place in Miami where you can go cuddle with horses. I said, well, don't worry, I'll find a horse and we'll see. Yeah, so tell me about your experience with horses in particular, like, because to me I mean all animals, of course I love horses have their own medicine, but there has been a lot of research, especially with horses and autism.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so horses? The first horse I worked on was in Belize and his buddy got a virus and died. He contracted the virus. I did a session. He was better the next day. I was like I don't even know how this happens.

Speaker 2:

The second horse I worked with I met in person and I put my hand on her and literally energy flew through me, into her. I went so fast I couldn't even hear it and I just stood there for like 10 minutes because she's flying through. Whatever she needed was just flying through me and I just a conduit and and when we got done she did a full body shake and the farrier that I was you know that asked me to work on her said oh, that was a fly. No, a fly is like that, that's a fly. That's not a little full body shake. But he didn't have the awareness to know that she was energy. Horses are fabulous to work with because they receive energy purely and if you do a heart-mouth breath before you connect with a horse, it's a whole different level. It's a whole different level because they feel your heartbeat, they feel you on a very profound level. I understand if cows aren't as dumbed down as they are with the vaccinations and the antibiotics and everything. They're very sentient beings. I really want to work with a cow.

Speaker 1:

Beautiful it shall be. Yeah, yeah, the universe will make that happen for sure. Very cool. Do you also work with institutions, like maybe somebody that has a farm or anything? I don't know, I haven't yet.

Speaker 2:

I haven't yet, but I actually met a beautiful soul a couple weeks ago who is a community developer banker and he heard me talk at a networking event. He lit up and said I want you to go to 4-h clubs, I want you to go. I missed the county fair, I don't know how it was the state fair, I missed it. But, um, he said you're going to come to meetings with me and I'm going to introduce you to people because you need to do this work. And I'm like, wow, I mean he's a, he was a beautiful brother anyways. But like he lit up and just I mean it was like amazing. It was like I was supposed to meet him because he was supposed to connect me with some people and I've never seen it that clearly before. So it was really magical.

Speaker 2:

I've gone to I haven't gone physically into yet, but I've reached out to Oregon State University because I have the School of Veterinary and I've said, hey, I'm here as a resource and nobody was interested. I'm here as a resource and nobody was interested. So it's and I've gone into veterinary clinics and there's a little bit ego involved and it's like I'm not trying to take your clients away, I'm trying to help the animals. It has nothing to do other than I don't want animals on medication when they don't need it.

Speaker 1:

No, we're all learning to, to work with our ego, kind of sit in the co-pilot. Yeah, and it's a daily work. Yes, it is yeah, it's a daily work. Yes, it is yeah. So it's sad to hear that, but I know it takes time. I know it's a whole process. Yeah, it is For our current reality, to kind of move past this current timeline.

Speaker 2:

And it's the process of evolution.

Speaker 1:

It's going to take some time, yeah, but it is very disheartening because I feel like we could be going. You know what my higher consciousness would say it's perfect as it is. I would like it to be faster. Um you know, just because it's so disheartening um to see so much pain and suffering and all these things.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Um, but looking at it from a higher perspective is all part of the process.

Speaker 2:

I know, I know.

Speaker 1:

Um, so if anybody wants to reach out to you for any of your services, the easiest way to find me is on healme slash.

Speaker 2:

Sophia S-O-F-I-A. Dash the little dash. Reisberg R-I-S-B-E-R-G.

Speaker 1:

Don't worry, if you didn't get that, we're going to put it on the description below. I mess up your last name all the time, so don't worry. We're going to put it there and we'll add any other information that you've sent me already in the descriptions. Is there any last messages or anything else that you feel called to share?

Speaker 2:

Okay, this is going to be radical.

Speaker 1:

Oh.

Speaker 2:

I love this.

Speaker 2:

So, there is a Hawaiian word called kahu. Kahu means steward, beloved attendant. It's directed towards your relationship with your animal. We have taken our animals for granted, right, and there's nothing wrong with that, because that's where our consciousness has been. But what would it feel like if you actually acknowledge your four-legged or a winged one or finned one, made eye contact with them and even did something as simple as saying om, that beautiful dog that I'm watching. I said, said oh, last night, and at first he was like and they went, and then he just started getting excited and I was like this is so cool because they know what that freight, they know that energy.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go do it after we're done.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's so cool. You can ask, you know, you can start asking your like. Just be more like present with your animal. That's number one. Number two if you want to start asking questions with your animal, ask your heart what a yes feels like and what a no feels like, and if you slow down enough you can feel it in your body. Then you can be the proxy because you're connected with the animal energetically to ask what you know. Yes, I want to go out Now. I mean you can probably tell if it needs to go out. But, like, if they have a digestive issue, you can ask If they need a supplement, you can ask If there's anything that feels out of alignment and you'll know, like, when you start tuning into your animal, you're going to start noticing things that you didn't notice before, and it's in a beautiful way, and so the more you cultivate that, the deeper your relationship can get.

Speaker 1:

I love that. That sounds actually very similar to connecting with your guides, so I think it would be a wonderful exercise. I'm going to start doing it.
